Warehouse Manager provides all those facilities required for the day-to-day operation of a warehouse.

There are few rules here. You can overfill a location or overload a pallet. Whilst you cannot mix stock on a pallet, you can mix stock in a location irrespective of any normal product mixing restrictions which may apply. You can reorganise your warehouse by moving stock internally and release valuable space by consolidating part pallets.

The Warehouse Manager is your tool box, enabling you to control and tune your warehouse to optimum performance.

Warehouse Manager contains the following modules:
  • Miscellaneous Receipts
  • Miscellaneous Issues
  • Internal Movements
  • Picking Face Replenishments
  • Stock Adjustments
  • Stock Quarantine
  • Customer Transfers
Miscellaneous Receipts
This module provides an alternative route to Goods In for booking in small quantities of stock. The maximum amount which can be booked in is one physical pallet.

Miscellaneous Issues
Provides an alternative route to Goods Out for booking out small quantities of stock. The maximum amount which can be booked out as a miscellaneous issue is one physical pallet.

Internal Movements
Internal movements transfer pallets from one location to another within the backup store. You cannot move parts of a pallet but you can consolidate two, or more, part pallets onto a single pallet.

Replenishments
A replenishment is the transfer of one pallet from the backup store to the picking location dedicated to a product. Replenishments are created automatically as a result of continually taking stock from the picking faces. However, it is here they are managed.

Stock Adjustments
This facility amends the quantity booked as being held on a pallet should there be a discrepancy between the quantity Stocker thinks is on a pallet, and the actual quantity physically on that pallet within the warehouse. You would usually use stock adjustments after performing your periodical warehouse stock check. Only users with the required authority can issue Stock Adjustments.

Stock Quarantine
Places a status or removes a status from selected pallets. Pallets with a status code set cannot be used by Stocker to satisfy stock requests. Note as part of the warehouse setup you can define status codes which are meaningful to you. This function is only available to users with the required authority.

Customer Transfers
Third Party system only. Transfers the ownership (not physical movement) of selected pallets from one customer to another.
