Warehouse Setup
This is the first stocktake performed when the contents of the warehouse is initially loaded into STOCKER. Blank stocktake sheets are printed by location and used to record the warehouse contents. The information on these sheets are then entered into STOCKER, verified, and loaded into STOCKER's databases.
Running Stock-check
The second section is the running stock check which is performed whenever you would normally do a stocktake. With the stock check you compare the physical stock actually held in the warehouse, with the book stock held within Stocker. As a result of this comparison a discrepancy report is listed highlighting any differences between the two stock holdings. This discrepancy report is used to amend the book stock through the Stock Adjustments module within Warehouse Manager. The stock check can be performed by location and by product.
Note. The checking of stock in picking locations can be done by Perpetual Inventory.
