General Procedure
Stock received into the warehouse is generally booked in through the Goods In module. There are exceptions, such as returns from customers, where small intakes of one pallet, or less, can be booked in through the Warehouse Manager.

Requests for stock are placed on Goods In orders. Orders are usually entered into Stocker prior to actual delivery. Upon receipt the order is checked. If there is a problem with the order it can be placed on hold and prevented from being moved into the warehouse. Or the order status can be set to quarantine such that it is automatically place on hold after it is moved into the warehouse.

After checking, and if there are no discrepancies, the whole order can be registered as received, in one action. Any lines on the order found to be in error can be received individually and the actual quantity received entered.

Once received, pallets can now be moved into the warehouse. Stocker uses pre-defined rules to generate individual movement instructions for each pallet received. These movement instructions are initially created as unactioned movements, which means they have not been physically carried out within the warehouse. Each movement reserves one physical pallet location to hold one pallet received on the order.

Now the pallet labels and placed onto the pallets. The pallets are moved into all movements are actioned within Stocker.

With all pallets moved into the warehouse the order is closed. Closed orders remain on the system for a user defined period.
