Stocker WMS Stock Selection and Despatch
Selecting warehouse stock and its subsequent despatch is the responsibility of the Warehouse Management System Goods Out module. The only exception to this is the despatch of ad-hoc product requests
of a single or less. These ad-hoc despatches are handled by Stocker's Warehouse Manager module.
The main features of Goods Out are summarized below:

- Orders can be manually entered or interfaced from another computer system.
- Order numbers can be manually entered or automatically created by Stocker.
- Stock Allocation reconciles stock availability against product demand.
- Automatic product substitutions cater for:
- Out of stock condition.
- Product promotions
- Single pushbutton click selects stock by use-by date or using FIFO.
- Automatic stock selection by use-by/receipt date guarantees stock rotation.
- When required, automatic stock selection rules can be overridden and product easily selected manually.
- Whole orders can be marked as picked with single click of a button.
- Optionally, individual pallets can be marked as picked with driver Id. and check-digit verification.
- Stocker's dynamic sort guarantees fastest possible stock selection.
- Optional management of picking faces with automatic replenishment.
- Consignment Management processes batches of orders as a single load.
- Vehicle route management sorts orders by route and drop.
- Vehicle scheduling planner for Goods Out outbound dock.
- A comprehensive set of status indicators provide instant visibility of order status and individual order line status.
- Optional confirmation of despatch can be sent to an external computer system.
- A comprehensive set of order summary enquiries, for example:
- By date ordered, due date or date despatched.
- By customer or by order type.
- Orders waiting despatch, or orders despatched.
- Graphical order analysis providing a breakdown of orders by status.
