Stocker WMS Links To Third Party Software
Microsoft SQL Server Express Editions.
Stocker WMS requires Microsoft SQL Server. If you don't have SQL Server you can install one of Microsoft's free SQL Server Express editions, either yourself or using one of PulseStar's installers which have SQL Server Express bundled. The advantage of using PulseStar's installers is they will configure SQL Server Express for Stocker. Should you decide to install SQL Express yourself it is recommended you install the 2008 version.
Stocker is configured for 32bit SQL Server. On a 64bit Windows system you should install 32bit SQL Server Express
SQL Server 2005 Express
SQL Express 2008 is recommended should you decide to install SQL Server Express yourself. However, 2005 has a lower requirement, will run on Windows 2000 and only requires you have the .Net Framework (version 2 or higher) pre-installed. Most computers will have a version of the .Net Framework already. You should also download this document which guides through the SQL Express 2008 installation but the entries you need to make are applicable to both versions.

SQL Server 2008 Express
Installing SQL Server 2008 Express is a little more complicated as it requires more prerequisite software to be present. However, many newer systems already have this software also.
This document provides information concerning the requirements of SQL Server Express and how to manually install and configure it for Stocker.

SQL Server 2008 Express Prerequisite Software
There are some software prerequisites for SQL Server 2008 Express edition. This is software which must be installed on the computer before you can successfully install SQL Server 2008 Express. Please note you must install this software yourself before you can install SQL Server 2008 Express manually. Newer computers may well already have this prerequisite software installed.

Reportizer and Reportizer Viewer are products of Vitaliy Levchenko Software. Below is the publisher's outline of Reportizer's capability.
- Reportizer is a band oriented database reporting tool which allows easy creating, modifying and printing of database reports from different types of databases connected by ADO or BDE.
- It has been tested using DB, DBF, TXT, CSV, Excel, HTML, Access, Oracle, Interbase, Firebird, SQL Server, MySQL.
- Reports can be edited using either a convenient visual report builder, or in text mode.
- The report generator supports calculating fields, multi-column reports, expressions, grouping, displaying images etc.
- Reportizer can export reports to HTML, XLS, TXT, or STT (static report) file.
- In addition to database reports, Reportizer can build and print file reports. For example, a list of files from a specified folder (together with icons, dates etc.).
- Reportizer also has the ability to load and print reports from the command line.
- Reportizer allows the management of report collections. After you select a folder with report files, it shows the file names and the reports' decriptions in a sortable list.
