General Procedure
Stock despatched from the warehouse generally passes through the Goods Out module. There are exceptions where small shipments, issues of one full pallet or less, are booked out through the Warehouse Manager.

Requests for stock are placed on Goods In orders. Orders are usually entered into Stocker prior to actual requirement. When the time comes to despatch the order stock must be reserved to meet each product request. Stocker reserves this stock by generating full pallet movement instructions and, optionally, part pallet picking instructions, if you utilise picking faces.

Whereas movements are always taken from the main bulk store, part pallets are taken from picking locations dedicated to individual products. For products which do not have picking locations, all part pallet picks are taken from the main bulk store and placed on the movement list with the full pallet movements.

With the stock reserved, the pallets are physically moved to the Goods Out dock. At this point the movements and picking instructions are marked as actioned in Stocker. The despatch note can now be printed, and the order confirmed as despatched when it actually leaves the warehouse.

After the order is confirmed as despatched it can be closed. Closed orders remain on the system for a user defined period.
